happy I am with the work you did on my oak china hutch. I
love the new doors, trim and hardware; you completely
transformed the "antique" look of the piece and made it look
modern and new! You did the job so quickly and it looks just

Rick,
I researched woodworkers for quite a while before I found
you. After talking to you and looking at your work, I knew
I had an expert. As a result, my expectations were set very
high. You more than met my high expectations--I must say
Darla and I love the TV built-in and the cabinetry work you
did for us. Further, the process was very enjoyable, from
the planning stage, to your project updates and to your
approach to the job and sense of humor, you made the process
professional and enjoyable. I truly can say that I do not
think anyone could have possible done a better job than you

Rick,
We are
writing to thank you for the wonderful built-in bookcases
you made for our house. Not only are you a really nice guy
to work with, but it goes without saying that you do amazing
work with wood. You and your assistant Noel came out to our
house before beginning the project to hear our ideas for the
space, then gave your suggestions and sketched out a design
for the bookcases. You built the bookcases just as quick as
you promised, and invited me out to your shop to see them
fully constructed before the paint was applied, which I
appreciated. Then you were able to install them just days
later, and did a fantastic job dealing with the challenges
our house threw your way (like crooked walls and an uneven
floor!). Now that the bookcases are in, I still can't get
over how great they look and what a great job you did. My
wife and I want to thank you and Noel for all your help with
this project. In my mind, what sets you apart from most of
the other contractors I have worked with is how accessible
and responsive you are to the customer. I was always able
to reach you by phone, and you were always taking the
initiative to call me and keep me up to date on how the work
was progressing. I appreciated that more than you can
know. I hope that we can work together in the future.

Rick,
Thanks so much for transforming our bookcase into an
entertainment center to fit our new 46" TV!! My objective
with the project was to retain the details that matched
other woodwork in the room, and make it look as though the
cabinet was original to the house. The stain and trim you
added complimented the existing woodwork, and houses the new
TV and its components beautifully! Thanks so much for your
attention to detail, and you and Noel's hard work!

Rick,
I wanted to take the time to thank you for the great job you
did on the bookshelves. I had spent months looking for
something to fill the (2) 108Hx63Wx26D holes that flanked my
fireplace. I think i may have visited just about every
furniture store in the metroplex. Luckily, I found your
site and I must say I was hesitant at first until I read the
testimonials. From the first visit, I could tell you knew
what you were doing. From taking measurements to weekly
updates over the phone, the process was so easy. I
definitely was not expecting what I received. i was so
impressed with the product you delivered. Even my 11 year
old daughter had to say you did an excellent job and she
doesn't like anything. I have sent pictures to my family and
friends at work and they are all in awe of your work and
what a difference a quality piece of furniture can make. I
will definitely be contacting you for a restoration on a 30
year old table my mom has been saving for me.. Rick, you are
the man!

Hi Rick,
I just wanted to drop you a note to thank you for our
beautiful entertainment center. From the first time we met
to discuss the project, I could tell that you were paying
attention - you knew exactly what I wanted and how to build
it. This was a complicated project - dealing with dead space
under the stairs - and many contractors had either not
"gotten it" or did not make me feel confident that they
could build it and keep our stairs structurally sound. You
got the idea right away and knew just what needed to be
done. The finished product is beyond our expectations - our
family room looks completely different and we love spending
time there now. The other projects you showed us in your
workshop made us wish we had more room so we could have you
build something else in our house! You and Noel were a
pleasure to work with and I appreciate your quick response
anytime I had a question for you.
Thanks again and one of these days, we'll come up with
another project!

Rick:
I am writing this letter to thank you for the outstanding
work you did in modifying our entertainment center so that
our new, and larger, television set would fit. I liked your
approach to the process. You came to our house, saw what I
had, and then asked what I wanted. After I described what I
had in mind, you made suggestions to improve upon my
concept. At first the improvements were broad in nature, and
then progressed to finishing details I had not considered.
In less than an hour we had agreed upon a concept and you
had sketched out the project.
The finished product is not only beautiful; it is extremely
well made. It blends in perfectly with the other sections of
the original entertainment center. In fact, the entire unit
looks better than it did before! The bonus was that the work
was completed much earlier than you had originally
projected; a very pleasant surprise!
In summary, it was a great pleasure to work with you not
only for your excellent craftsmanship, but for your
responsible work ethic as well. Please feel free to use me

Rachel says...
Rick's Woodworking recently constructed a built in desk
system for our home office. We say down with Rick and
explained our specific functionality needs for our home desk
system. Rick offered some creative design suggestions to
achieve the look and functionality that we were unable to
find in a pre-fabricated desk unit. We are extremely
impressed with the craftsmanship and design of the desk
unit. The desk, cabinetry and shelving exceed our
expectations and look absolutely stunning in our home
office. Thank you Rick for your commitment to service and
quality. These are not enough craftsmen like you around
these days !

Dear Rick,Once again I
want to thank you for helping us out of our dire situation.
We had our hearts set on a wonderful set of living room
furniture and due to unforeseen circumstances, were left
without a hope of obtaining it locally. After much searching
through our various furniture emporiums and outlets, talking
long distance with our deserted furniture manufacturers and
perusing and evaluating multiple online local custom
builders, we had you into our home and lives.
It has been three weeks since
you came to our house to discuss the possibility of custom
crafting several pieces of furniture for us. During that
time, you have never been anything but gentle, reassuring
and kind with us. You looked at our desired furniture online
and the pictures we had of the designs we longed for and
said, "That would be no problem." After much discussion of
size, desired woods, stains and styles, the decision was
reached that you would indeed be the fulfiller of our
dreams. In addition, you gently encouraged us to see beyond
the mundane and add the finishing touches that would make
our new pieces outstanding.
What a wonderful job you have
done! In less time that projected, you were able to
construct and complete several units for us. The four piece
entertainment center, which stretches thirteen feet across a
main wall and soars over eight feet toward our cathedral
ceiling, the wonderful credenza which graces the entry view
to the room and the matching enclosed bookcase are all
wonderfully crafted, beautifully finished and will be a
lasting testament to the extreme joy and pride you place in
your workmanship. You never once made us feel uncomfortable
in handling our questions and frequent calls to check
progress. Your professionalism in handling and installing
our new pieces was second to none!
Words cannot express the
pleasure, the pride and the complete satisfaction that fills
our hearts at this time and I know that we will forever
remember how you treated us. God bless you in all your
endeavors. May your business flourish and your heart find
peace in your obviously God-given talent.

Thank you for the lovely addition you built for our living
room. When we bought this house, we were faced with the
dilemma of what to do with an existing, awkward cutout
space. Our new built-in entertainment center fits
